Snowflake Challenge '26 #2: zero_one is a Doggy

So, I've done a bit of poking around in TLT fandom spaces on both Reddit and Tumblr. And on Reddit, I saw a bit of art of zero_one as a cat, called zero_nyan. On Tumblr, I saw multiple different people draw it as an MLP-style pony, which makes sense, what with TLT's Brony roots. But what I haven't seen is art of zero_one as a dog!


Which is a bit strange, because zero_one has such puppy energy. It's energetic and playful---common traits of young dogs. In Luneth (one of the best TLT fic writer)'s "Fly Home," Zero jumps up and pulls Rust into a hug as soon as Rust walks through the door of their home, a headcanon I very much agree with (I actually thought of something similar independently before reading this fic---you can imagine my surprise!). You could pick a breed with ears that look a bit like headphones! There's a gap in the market!

I brought this up to my relatives who know nothing about TLT, and my aunt suggested that puppy!Zero be called zero_wan---"wan" being the Japanese equivalent of "woof".

So, uh...I would draw this, except right now, I'm not confident enough in my artistic abilities to draw anything more complicated than an object show character or a bust portrait of a humanoid. Maybe I'll get over myself and/or Git Gud soon and zero_wan will be delivered to the masses. Until then, just know that I think zero_one is a doggy.
